A MagicPak stands in a closet and breathes through a wall louver instead of sitting on a roof. That design shapes how it fails in Valley heat and what a replacement has to fit.

Independent service. Bleuwave HVAC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer of MagicPak. MagicPak and related product names are trademarks of their owners. We service and replace this equipment as an independent contractor.
The appeal to a builder is obvious: no roof penetration, no ground pad, no refrigerant lines, no shared equipment. Each unit serves one home. The consequences for a homeowner thirty years later are just as real. The replacement must fit the same closet, use the same louver, connect to the same short duct run, and not many contractors work on them.
Bleuwave HVAC is an independent service company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer of MagicPak, Allied Air or Lennox, and those trademarks belong to their owners. We service this equipment because it is in the homes we serve, not because anyone appointed us to.
Where you will find them:
Our townhome HVAC page covers what an HOA, a party wall and a shared roof do to your options.
Repairs use largely conventional components: capacitors, contactors, blower and condenser fan motors, control boards, and refrigerant-circuit work. The cabinet is the constraint. Access panels are tight and the closet is usually the only working room.
Financing on approved credit is available for replacements, and every quote is flat-rate and in writing before work begins. See our financing page.
Straight answers, no runaround. Don’t see yours? Our team is a phone call away, around the clock.
Look for a large louvered panel on an exterior wall and a tall metal cabinet in a closet on the other side of that wall, with no unit on the roof or the ground. The data plate inside the closet access panel will say MagicPak or M-Series.
Sometimes, if the HOA allows exterior equipment and the structure permits it. For most attached homes the like-for-like vertical replacement is the practical path because the wall opening, louver and closet already exist. Our condominium HVAC page covers what boards typically allow.
That pattern is the signature of restricted condenser airflow through the louver, worst when the wall is in the sun. Check that nothing is blocking the exterior louver. Coil cleaning and pressure checks are a service call.
Probably the condensate drain or pan. Shut the system off at the thermostat and call. Interior packaged units have a short path from a clogged drain to the floor below.
Yes. We schedule buildings with property managers and boards, and we document each unit separately. See property management HVAC.
It is a different design constraint, not different physics. A well-maintained vertical unit with a clean coil and a clear louver performs as intended; a neglected one does not. Efficiency ratings vary by model and are research pending until we read yours.
The M-Series family includes heat-pump configurations along with cooling-with-electric-heat and gas-heat versions. Which you have is on the data plate, and it affects both the repair and the replacement conversation.

Whether it is a coil cleaning or a like-for-like swap, the answer starts with the data plate and the louver. Call (480) 863-5855.
