RunTru is the value line from Trane Technologies, and Valley builders and investors have put a lot of it on side yards and in garage closets. Here is how it holds up at 112 degrees and what to do when it does not.
Schedule today — we’re here 24/7.

Independent service. Bleuwave HVAC is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer of RunTru. RunTru and related product names are trademarks of their owners. We service and replace this equipment as an independent contractor.
Straight answers, no runaround. Don’t see yours? Our team is a phone call away, around the clock.
Same corporate family, different tier. RunTru is the value label from Trane Technologies, positioned below Trane and American Standard. The equipment shares a parent company, not a price list or a feature list, and a RunTru system should be evaluated on its own condition rather than on the reputation of its cousins.
That is the classic signature of a failed run capacitor, though a seized fan motor produces the same sound. Turn the system off at the thermostat so the compressor stops straining, and do not open the cabinet. A technician can test the capacitor and motor in a few minutes. Our AC not cooling page covers the other things to check first.
No. We are not a dealer for the brand, and warranty coverage is a matter between you and the manufacturer under the terms of your original purchase. What we can do is read the serial number, tell you the equipment's age, diagnose the failure and give you a flat-rate repair quote so you can decide how to proceed.
Usually not. A functioning system a few years old is an asset, and swapping it for a premium tier rarely pays back on an APS or SRP time-of-use bill. The exception is a system that was undersized or paired with leaky ducts from the start. That is a sizing and airflow problem, and it deserves an on-site evaluation, not a catalog upgrade.
Twice a year: a cooling tune-up before the heat and a heating check before the first cold snap. The Phoenix cooling season is long enough that a single annual visit leaves too much runway for dust, weak capacitors and low airflow. Our maintenance membership page explains what a scheduled visit covers.
For most Valley homes, yes. Winter here asks a heat pump for a few dozen cold mornings, not a season of it, and a properly sized unit handles that without strain. Whether yours is properly sized is a question for a load calculation on site, especially if rooms with west-facing glass run hot in summer and cold in January.
We are an independent contractor, not a RunTru dealer, so we do not represent the brand. At a replacement estimate we discuss equipment options across several manufacturers and match the choice to your home's load, ductwork and budget. The right box is the one that fits the house, whatever name is on it.
Same-day appointments across Maricopa and Pinal counties. Pick your city for local pricing pages, reviews and service details.
Same-day service across the Valley, NATE-certified technicians, and no upsell on a young system that only needs a part. Schedule an on-site evaluation.
